HUH: Roundhouse Live
Premiere: Thursday 11 June
Released as a free to stream concert to enjoy during lockdown. Performed and filmed at The Roundhouse 2019, #HUH an evening of music x poetry x activism featuring:
Salena Godden
Solomon O.B
Sophia Thakur
Errollyn Wallen
Ayanna Witter-Johnson
Kieron Rennie
Produced by Jasmin Kent Rodgman
I loved collaborating with Jasmin on HUH. My contribution includes a performance of an excerpt of 'Shade' from 'The Good Immigrant' and 'The Letter' published in 'Pessimism is for Lightweights' plus an improvisation of new and unpublished work. This is released in solidarity with #BlackLivesMatter and the fight for justice and equality, we would like to ask audience members to read about and donate (if able) to Black British History organisation @TheBlackCurriculum and/or legal advice charity, INQUEST. Enjoy the show!
